My great grandfather Julian Rose was a world-famous Hebrew comedian in the early 20th century. He performed on the West End, at the Royal Variety Performance, on the BBC, and on Broadway in New York City. He was known to the public as 'Our Hebrew Friend'. A century later, here I am in the same job, asking the same questions. What does it mean to be Jewish? What does it mean to be a comedian? And what does it mean to be both at the same time? A show about history, legacy, and belonging. With some century old Jewish jokes thrown in for good measure. "Cheekily transgressive... he's an ...

Ricky Hunt is tall, gay, working class, and lost in Walthamstow Village. He grew up in a surreal Essex menagerie with 30 pet cats, a red living room he called ‘Hell’, and a mum who thought MDF and a stencil could fix anything. Now he’s living in a fake London village, trapped between oat milk and opera... literally. His boyfriend directs it. This debut work-in-progress stand-up hour dances between buffet omelettes in Ibiza, awkward opera intermissions, the ghosts of Clacton past, and the existential threat of phone notifications. A poetic panic on a journey from Pov' to less pov'. If you...

And you’ve cried to Tony and Maria’s tragic end in West Side Story. Behold, a show that has all of the romance, none of the sex, and some of the slurs of those lauded predecessors! It’s an honest, moving mix of storytelling, poetry, and raw emotion - where laughter meets stillness, and the personal becomes universal. With over 100 performances under her belt and a reputation for leaving audiences stunned - whether with roaring laughter or pin-drop silences - Kavita’s voice is as unforgettable as the stories she tells.
