Located on Blair Street, just off of the Royal mile and minutes from the Fringe show, The City Cafe is a fashionable 1950's style café bar right in the centre of town. It has benefited from a complete refurbishment in the last couple of years, and it is right on the doorstep of the hustle and bustle of the Royal mile . The venue serves a wide selection of meals and drinks all day, and there is also a great outdoor drinking area, and new for 2018 - three performance spaces for show downstairs!

Pay What You Want: This year our shows in venues are ticketed, so you should book a ticket to guarantee entry - this is because of restricted capacities, COVID restrictions, and so we can keep you as safe as possible. Pay What You Want means you donate to a show in advanced for this ticket and you know you can get in. You can still turn up at the venue for free, and donate at the end of the show - but we recommend getting tickets this year to make sure you get in.

Lee never understood why people sometimes thought he was unusual. Then, one day, he was sat in a cemetery with a lass out of Byker Grove who may or may not be his sister, with a guinea pig he accidentally owns between his legs, under a tree he'd taken to throwing shoes into and he realised he might be an oddball. A show about identity with a little bit about class war if there's time. Lee is a stand up comedian, story teller and ad libber from South Tyneside, expect him to be both stupid and thoughtful in equal measures as he flips between 'sophisticated comedy' Wee Review and being 'sub...
