What's the worst day you've ever had? In 2015, I brought my show to the Fringe festival for the first time. 3 weeks later I was homeless, broke, malnourished and my father was dead (but I don't blame the Fringe for that). And it all happened on my birthday. Ten years later, as 2025 lurches on, the question must be asked "Are we living in the horrible, dystopian future predicted by our greatest science fiction writers?" Canadian stand up Dylan Rhymer presents a show dedicated to all the Winston Smiths out there. Have there been any changes in the last decade or are we trapped in a simulation...

Elliot Mason hosts an evening of musical chaos. With one piano (or keyboard for inaccessible rooms), the professional cocktail pianist and singer is finally allowed off the leash after an interminable four month contract trapped on a strict cruise ship, and intends to fill each performance with as much drama, ugly or beautiful, as possible. Dragging the audience into his mad world, Elliot intends to do away with all the limitations thrust on him by the cruise companies, making up songs on the spot for members of each audience and making stupid and infantile adjustments to the lyrics of popular...

What happens when you’re asked, “Why are you?” — not who, not how, but why — like your existence needs an explanation? WHY ARE YOU? is a blisteringly honest and wildly funny one-person show by Pakistani-born comic and poet JR Sharaf, blending stand-up, storytelling, and spoken word to unravel a life caught between cultures, expectations, and existential dread. "There's no no-show business like no-show business" From the Author of "How to Write, Perform and Produce a Cancelled Edinburgh Fringe Show" comes an hour of nothing. Musical Comedian Ashley Frieze is not coming to the Edinburgh Fringe 2025. Don't go looking for him. He's not here. He's at home, probably. The price of staging a show, even with the help of the Free Festival, has risen to the point that most performers are going to lose their shirts to put on a show. Paying to stage a no-show is significantly cheaper and more bang for your buck than attending the Fringe these days. Perh...

Four Comedians perform head to head in a series of challenges where every failed task results in a shot! They first do 7-minute sets. For every joke that bombs, they have to do a shot. Then they are matched in a Yo Momma joke-off, each round lasting 90 seconds. Every time a comedian laughs: another shot! The audience then vote for their two favourites, to go head to head in a game of Never Have I Ever where, if the comic drinks, they have to explain the story! Will the comics still be standing by the end? Will the acts even be able to stand up by the end of their set? You'll have to...
