Multi-award winning standup comic tells the story of how the last Ashes Series changed his life. A story of love, loss and a Christmas night miracle.

'A master of the genre' One4Review ★★★★

'Star in waiting. He is untouchable' The Times ★★★★

'Few have been as deeply moving as Nathan Cassidy' The Scotsman 2025

Last Christmas Day, Nathan Cassidy is alone in his divorcee basement, feverish and half-drunk, watching England getting destroyed in the Ashes. But as the Ashes slips further out of reach, something strange begins to happen... The Australian team appear, one by one, to guide Nathan on a surreal journey of survival, redemption and hope.

From the award-winning star of 25 solo shows, From the Ashes is a hilarious and heart-opening journey through cricket, collapse, and the strange magic of Christmas. And, like all the best stories, like the ones his grandad used to tell him as a kid, this one might only be half true too.

Star of 6 Specials, BBC Radio 5 Live and million downloaded podcast 'Daily Notes'.
