He Was a Punk, She Did Ballet

Amy Albright and Michael Cook are bringing a powerhouse double bill to Edinburgh 2026.

Two comedians.

Two full 30 minute headline sets.

One unmissable hour of stand-up at full throttle.

Michael Cook delivers a bold, playful, and unpredictable 30 minutes packed with big energy, sharp instincts, and perfectly timed left turns. His set thrives on momentum and surprise, pulling the room into controlled chaos and riding it all the way to a huge finish.

Amy Albright follows with smart, emotionally astute comedy that cuts straight to the bone, blending sharp observation with genuine warmth and devastating punchlines.

Her half-hour is tightly crafted, fearless, and deeply funny, the kind of stand-up that stays with you long after the laughs land.

Back to back, these two voices create a dynamic, perfectly balanced hour.

Different styles.

Shared standards.

No filler.

No weak spots.

If you want intelligent, high-impact comedy delivered by two comedians at the top of their game, this is a double bill you do not want to miss at Edinburgh 2026.
