Liggy Sauce

Liggy Sauce (noun): /ˈlɪɡ.i sɔs/

1. The unavoidable, mysterious, and often stubborn stain that lands on one’s clothing during a meal, regardless of precautions taken.

2. A culinary phenomenon unique to certain individuals (see also: stained b*tch).

ex. "How did you already get Liggy sauce on your white shirt? All you’ve had today was an egg."

No one gets through life stain-free; sometimes, you just have to embrace the mess. In this fast-paced, vulnerable solo show, saucy stand-up Sophia Jane Wilkof takes the audience on a journey through the messes—literal and metaphorical—that have shaped her life. Through a mix of stand-up, storytelling, and physical comedy, Sophia dives deep into the chaos, asking: Is life just a series of smears, smudges, schmutz, and stains? Or is the real mistake trying to stay spotless? Liggy Sauce is a hilarious and heartfelt exploration of how some people are just destined to leave a mark.
