Hi, I'm Zoë

What’s a woman looking for love to do in the 21st century? "Hi, I'm Zoë..." takes a comedic look at the tragedy of modern dating.

Tinder expert Zoë has gone the distance (literally!), traveling the globe and searching for her special man on all the wrong apps. Now she’s ready to teach you her secrets so that you can find success too in this new era of dating. Always a risk-taker, she’ll bring you along on cycling dates, hiking dates, dates with models, and dates filled with laughter at all the wrong moments. She wonders why men keep sending her…interesting pictures, and wonders whether her “Cool Girl” persona is working as well as she’d like it to. Along the way, she experiences heartbreak and hard truths with a critical eye and more than a dash of naivety. She wonders how it’s all come to this and shares a few pieces of wisdom she’s picked up along the way. Ever the teacher, she’s always happy to share her expert advice. Her journey will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you question everything you thought you knew about modern love. You'll walk away wondering whether you should download or delete the Tinder app!

Zoë Frendin is a classically-trained NZ actress who’s worked and studied in the UK and Australia. Back in NZ for a short while, she continues to pursue her love of comedy and is excited to share this one-woman show with audiences in New Zealand.
