Alternative Comedy It’s Downstairs! is Leeds’ infamous, illicit alternative comedy night, known for packing basements full of comedy fans and putting on events that border on fever dreams. Come downstairs and join our cult. Expect music, silly games, and mad traditions, as each event strives to bring you the best in alternative talent, new and old. Bringing alternative comedy to all aspects of the night, you will see first 5’s, return guests, and even a house band (Ella-Jean).

A.C.I.D! tested the waters of the fringe last year, hosting several shows as part of The HalliGalli hour. We are back for more madness with a full run, performing every night (except Wednesdays, we don’t do Wednesdays).
