Jokes I Rescued from the Future (by Telling Them Now)

Ivo’s Edinburgh Fringe debut show — Jokes I Rescued from the Future (by Telling Them Now) — offers a playful dive into the chaos of our modern world through a whirlwind of absurdist jokes. Featuring unpredictable one-liners, surreal sketches, and maybe a poem or two, it’s comedy for those who enjoy their humour a little offbeat.

The show offers a light-hearted exploration of some of the issues we all face living in the information age. How can we stay focused amidst all the distractions on offer? And should we even try? Are you spending your free time productively enough? The internet offers many solutions but, frankly, at this point, you can’t see the forest for the phone you’d rather look at.

Come along for a semi-comprehensive investigation into how to stay focused amidst endless distractions — with, potentially, some detours along the way. We’ll cover everything from trying to stay in the present moment to the challenge of riding seahorses.

This year we have two entry methods: Free & Unticketed or Pay What You Can
Free & Unticketed: Entry to a show is first-come, first served at the venue - just turn up and then donate to the show in the collection at the end.
Pay What You Can: For these shows you can book a ticket to guarantee entry and choose your price from the Fringe Box Office, up to 30 mins before a show. After that all remaining space is free at the venue on a first-come, first-served bases. Donations for walk-ins at the end of the show.
