Alex Mason and Freya McGhee: Comedians in STEM

Freya McGhee and Alex Mason will be showing you mathematic graphs of their love life, then delving into their frustration with specific lab experiments. All whilst ensuring a chemical bond with the audience. Come along so we can keep denying our degrees weren't a complete waste of money.

Freya McGhee is a self-deprecating chemist. Freya has over 15,000 followers on instagram, and has found an audience who love her science related material. She was a Leicester Mercury Finalist 2023, Amused Moose Panel Show Finalist 2021 and tour support for Helen Bauer's 'Grand Supreme Darling' 2023 UK tour. Freya is a brilliant up and coming comedian, who always impresses. Freya was apart of the prestigious Edinburgh compilation show AAA 2023.

“Freya is one of those acts that whenever I’m on the bill with her it’s like ‘OH HELL YES!’ She is so funny it’s actually annoying!’ – Helen Bauer as seen on Live at The Apollo

Alex Mason is a neurodiverse, alternative comedian. She is very confident with crowd work and great at playing the room, making every show exciting. Her material is completely unique, and her persona is fun and engaging. She has been a headliner for multiple shows and had standing ovations after every one!

"A thoroughly engaging presence" - Steve Bennet (Chortle)
