Juliette Burton: Going Rogue

Geek is the new sexy. As a young nerd Juliette loved to dress up and she loved Rogue from the X-Men - funny, dark past, great costume. Skip to the 2020s and Juliette is ”award-winning comedian and activist” masked in glitter, costumed in sequins. At home she relaxes by reading comic books and dreaming of a version of her she's yet to live. She's realised she has an appetite, for food, for adventure, for more. Her lust for life has frightened others, so she repressed her sexuality, her authenticity and her power. By dressing up as beloved characters, she's uncovered something hidden deep inside. Join her on a journey from cosplay to confidence. Where does your power lie? EdFringe sell-out 2015/16/17/18/23. As seen on BBC1 and ITV. "Burton drips with charm - joyous" Times "Huge talent" ★★★★★Mirror "A force to be reckoned with. Hilarious" ★★★★★EdfestMag “Intelligent, emotional, liberating” ★★★★★VoiceMag “Burton’s the fringe favourite” Guardian
