100% C*ntinental is a stand-up comedy mix show, unpacking the experiences of international women adjusting to life, love and paperwork via Google Translate. Find out if it's really true Italians are sexy, the Germans are humourless and what would happen if Emily went to Paris on minimum wage.

“100% C*ntinental” premiered at EdFringe in 2023 and sold 92% capacity for its full run at the festival.

“100% C*ntinental” is presented by international comedians Mari Volar and Sharon VS. They are both active performing comedians and experienced comedy producers based in Germany.

Mari Volar

Mari Volar is a stand up comedian, musician and event producer from Estonia.

Even though she currently lives in Germany, she can often be seen on various international stages across the continent. Sometimes you just need a break (that isn’t

a KitKat).

Mari proudly brings more feminism into her comedy and more comedy into her feminism, creating an over-the-top mix that simply cannot be missed.

She’s founded two international comedy collectives and co-founded one comedy festival and is currently touring with a two-woman show “The Clitoris Act” as well as working on her solo hour “Overconfident+Underprepared” which was also featured in the WICF Manchester programme in 2023.

Mari has taken part in Edinburgh Fringe in 2023, Tallinn Fringe in 2022+2023, moderated the Hundertpro performing arts festival in 2022 and 2023 as well as being featured in one of the few English speaking shows at Cologne Comedy Festival in 2023.

Sharon VS

Sharon VS spent many years suppressing her comedic talent inside a full time corporate HR career. Finally realising that she's terrible with people, in 2022, she co-wrote a show and took it to Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This completely changed her life. She now only works part time in HR.

Sharon cannot stress enough that any resemblance in her material to people living or dead is entirely coincidental. Apart from the things that actually happened.

Off stage you will find Sharon gathering more material by raising a teenager in Germany. Because that's where he lives.
