Alex and Roger Work It Out

Join Alex Bertulis-Fernandes (Channel 4 Sean Lock Awards Finalist) and Roger O’Sullivan (BBC New Comedy Awards Regional Finalist) for an hour of stand-up.

Alex Bertulis-Fernandes was a Channel 4 Sean Lock Awards Finalist (2023), So You Think You’re Funny? Semi-Finalist (2021) and a 2Northdown New Act Semi-Finalist (2020). Alex has written for BBC Radio 4's The Now Show, The News Quiz and BBC Radio Scotland's Breaking The News, and was praised by BBC Radio 4's former Commissioning Editor of Comedy for having “so many good lines” and “a really great performing style”. Last year Alex co-starred in the stand-up show ‘White Chicks 2’ at Soho Theatre. This year Alex was one of six up-and-coming acts selected for VAULT Festival’s Comedy UnRepped showcase.

Roger O’Sullivan was a Regional Finalist of the BBC New Comedy Awards (2021). He’s been praised by The Irish Examiner for having "a comedic mind ripe with potential", with his mixture of one-liners and surreal stories drawing comparisons to Dylan Moran and Mitch Hedberg. Roger’s work’s also been featured on BBC One, BBC Three, RTÉ and BBC Radio 4.
