Top Derry comedian Peter E Davidson returns with his brand new fifth solo Edinburgh Fringe special.
Tired of being mistaken for international comedian and celebrity sex plaything Pete Davidson, this year saw Peter E take a really long look at who he is and where he stands in an ever-increasing polarised world.
All this culminated in an existential crisis while dressed as Santa at a Christmas event where a kid stared deep into his soul and asked ‘are you fake?’ Damn it kid. In so many ways. In so many ways.
So, join Pete on a rip-roaring midlife crisis with 80% less leather jackets and 30% more fart jokes… as he looks and where he’s been, where he’s going and how much rose wine can he drink before he’s asked to get off the bus.
Peter E Davidson is a writer and comedian from Derry Northern Ireland. He has written for BBC Radio 4, 4 Extra, Radio Ulster, Radio Foyle and BBC NI. He is the regular MC at “Laughs@TheLoft” comedy club in Derry and ‘Laugh tracks’ in Coleraine.
Peter is also a regular performer and headliner across Northern Ireland. He was a guest panellist on BBC NI's 'The Blame Game' featuring Colin Murphy and Neil Delamere as well as being a featured act on BBC NI’s ‘Live at The Sunflower’ comedy showcase.
He was selected by the Arts Council NI to represent them in Brussels for a special culture night performance of his debut solo show ‘Guns N’ Rosé’ and was also selected by Derry City Council to perform his kid’s comedy show for two dates at the Irish Arts Centre in New York in 2018.
He is allergic to penicillin and once talked to Harry Hill in a lift about circumcision.
He has a dog named Henry.
