The Wee Pub

The Wee Pub (Fringe Venue 297)

1 Currie Close, Grassmarket. Phone: 0131 220 1246

 Accessible Bar WiFi AirCon

A small pub, the smallest in Scotland, with a big selection of Whisky’s on sale from a cabinet in the corner. And during the Fringe the whole bar becomes a Fringe show, entertaining 40 people and a performer. Right in the heart of the Grassmarket, it’s a unique venue well worth a visit (and if it is packed, you can sit in the adjoining Biddy Mulligan’s Bar)...

The Wee Pub benefits from being a small venue, on a very busy road - the Grassmarket. It is also adjoining a busy bar, and another Free Festival Venue, Biddy Mulligan's - which itself is attached to the Grassmarket Hotel.

It is the Smallest Bar in Scotland, and this venue is used only for misc performance, as it is not an area that can be separated from people walking in, people do actually visit it due to it's status as the smallest bar in Scotland.

There is an area in the window suitable for solo and due music performers, and comes with a basic venue sound system with mics and mixer for musicians to use.

This venue is not suitable for other types of shows,
