Xander and Cheng: Pig Business

Join comedians Amy Xander and Ginnia Cheng for an hour of stand-up comedy, possibly with the occasional sketch thrown in - if they learn how to act in time.

What’s it like to run a successful, international business, whilst being a mother of three kids and an influencer with 10 million followers? We have no idea, sorry. Between us we mother 1 cat (alive) and 5.5 house plants (dead). We have about 59 followers (bots) and the only business we engage in is trying to navigate the world without acting like a pair of pigs.

Ginnia is the winner of Louis Theroux and Amazon Studios’ ‘Looking For Louis’ competition, and was shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award 2021. She was also selected by BBC Writersroom for a programme showcasing the UK’s East Asian comedy talent, while her sex-positive live comedy experience Sex Standing Up Comedy, is regularly recommended as TimeOut's Top 3 Things to Do in London.

Amy was selected for the 2019/2020 BBC Writersroom comedy development scheme and in 2021 she was a finalist in the Chorts Sketch Competition. She also regularly writes for BBC Radio comedy shows such as Breaking the News, The Now Show and Newsjack. They’ve both been semi-finalists in the Max Turner Prize and the So You Think You’re Funny new act competition.

Treat yourself to an hour of pig business and you’ll have a smashing time - and don’t worry, we promise you’ll learn absolutely nothing along the way!
