Expelled from Eton

Expelled from Eton is a shockingly funny and wickedly accurate tour of modern Britain's prejudices and hangups. George William Callaghan takes aim at the royal family whom he says should be in porn to raise money for the people they claim to care about. This is Frankie Boyle crossed with Boris Johnson. Vulgarity delivered in a plummy accent is innately hilarious. This chubby apparently bumbling comedian reveals a razor sharp wit to cut any hecklers down to size. The show takes in ethnic stereotypes and turns them on their head. There is plenty of self-deprecating humour. George examines the inanities of the excesses of the Me Too movement. He also takes aim at feeble straight male attempts to stay on the right side of Me Too. Ineptitude is a vein running through the show. There are plenty of call backs - or analepses as George calls them. George has stage presence and knows how to dominate the room. The show has pace but it never too fast. George knows the power of a pause. He uses physical comedy and gurns his face to maximum effect. This is a rollercoaster ride! Just when you think it cannot go any lower it does. George loves to shock you and feel the shockwaves reverberating back to him. If you are easily offened - fuck off. Prepare to puke.
