Object of Desire

"With a tripod, a clothes hanger and an overcoat, Cora Todd, an emerging Scottish performance artist creates a dark, humorous and unsettling performance that is unlike any other I've seen" M Sherin (Rose Bruford).

A nostalgic view of a 1950's relationship through not so rose tinted spectacles, Object of Desire is a performance like no other. This unique, one woman show blends comedy and drama with authentic and contemporary elements that will leave you questioning issues of consent, relationships and sexism that still resonate today. Cora incorporates music, movement and puppetry to object to objectification. The audience also has an option to stay for a post-show discussion on the issues tackled in this performance. Object of Desire is truly a unique, diverse addition to the Edinburgh Free Fringe.

Themes of sexual assault.

Recommended audience 14+.
