Raucous melancholy! Human failure! A whole bunch of jokes!

Strong and kind sketch group Beach Hunks are proud to present their debut hour of crushingly absurd comedy. Watch as these chiselled musclemen morph into pop icons, worm-beasts, Borscht belt jazz singers, terrible cops and more, while asking the age-old question: is there more to life than being Very Handsome? (The answer is no.)

Beach Hunks performed as part of the show Cosmonauts, which was ‘ready and raring to go and knock your socks off if you’re willing to embrace the insane and let it’ and ‘made [audiences] weep tears of delirious laughing joy’ (****, EdFringeReview). They’ve since been a Manchester Wire Comedy Pick of the Week, with members performing on BBC Radio 4Extra and at festivals across the North, and now they’re ready to show you their anarchic brand of comedy that wears its big, sad heart on its sleeve.

Brimming with hopeless characters and quickfire gags, 'Very Handsome.' is Beach Hunks' greatest challenge yet, as they tackle the acting challenge of portraying four unappealing schlubs. Come be dazzled. There's a full stop at the end, so you know they're serious.
