Starring The Three Stars of Israeli Comedy: Shahar Hason, David Kilimnick & Yohay Sponder
A rabbi, a loving Yemenite and a self-loving Jew walk onto the stage. Want to see how the joke ends? Come to see us.
Bringing you the funny part of life in Israel and the personal perspective of Jews. You like us, or you hate us- Either way, we will change your mind.
Shahar talks and it's funny, David screams and it's funny, and Yohay...

Shahar Hason (41-year-old, performing for 19 years) The Israeli comedian star of 19 years, as seen on 'Laughter from Work,' ‘Night with Fun’ and other famous TV shows whose names do not translate to English either. Come see him share his Israeli perspective, in his second language, and share the moment while he is trying to understand what he is saying.

David Kilimnick (40-year-old, performing for 14 years) Israel’s first finalist of the Laugh Factory's 'Funniest Person in the World' competition, and dubbed Israel's "father of Anglo comedy" by the Jerusalem Post.
Kilimnick's material covers the rocky transition from his "New York Cocoon" as a religious Jew to his new life as a regular person in Israel. His universal humor takes you on a tour of funny through the Holy Land and his frustrations with being single and forty. You are sure to walk away entertained, enlightened, or with David.

Yohay Sponder (35-year-old performing for 12 years) International Comic, as seen on ‘West Coast Comedy’ in the USA, and the radio show ‘Working Title Kaparah.’ Starring and producing in his stand-up series ‘FUNNY MONDAY,’ Yohay deals bravely with religion, as a heretic. Yohay might be the only Israeli you will ever like. As the only beautiful comedian on earth5, you might want to give him citizenship.

News and Reviews for this Show

August 9, 2017 The Jewish Chronicle
Six of the Best
It’s good to see a return to some semblance of Israeli activity on the Fringe after several years of a boycott-induced vacuum, and this show is what’s known in the biz as putting yourself out there. David Kilimnick, a 40-year-old New York-born former rabbi and the founder of the Off the Wall Comedy Basement, Jerusalem’s only comedy club, will be making his Edinburgh debut at an hour when most rabbis are normally tucked up in bed. Also appearing are Shahar Hason, 41, and Yohay Sponder, 35. The show, ironically, is in the venue’s Bunker Room. Click Here
