All the way from Spain, Kiki Vita presents ‘Grumpy Pants’ a hilarious show for the whole family. Mr Vita will delight audiences of all ages with his perfectly crafted juggling routines, physical comedy and fork throwing!

Grumpy Pants invites the audience into an eccentric and intimate world where everyday objects are brought to life in non traditional juggling routines and the fourth wall is broken from beginning to end, the audience being part of the show from the moment they enter. A show where language is no barrier as the performer expertly communicates through his expressive rubber skin and sounds.

Kiki has entertained audiences in events and festivals in over 25 countries worldwide including Kosovo, Kuwait and Fiji, appearing at events such as Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Canadian National Exhibition and Glastonbury.

“Who needs words when you have a face as expressive as his?... A charismatic performer who can entertain the whole family.” The Circus Diaries

Presented by:
Kiki Vita

Francisco's first gig was as a children's party clown, a long time ago, employed by his older sister - unaware that would be the beginning of a lifetime journey through clown, comedy and circus.

He has performed in over 25 countries including Kosovo, Kuwait and Fiji, appearing at events such as Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Canadian National Exhibition and Glastonbury, both independently and with companies. He has been touring constantly for the past 8 years with his outdoor show 'The TNT Show' and his duo show 'Las Cossas Nostra - the show'.

An accomplished traditional juggler, although his style is dedicated to a more contemporary form of object manipulation - bringing everyday objects (tables, forks, umbrellas) to life and incorporating them in his juggling routines.

A proud self proclaimed 'professional stupiad', he is dedicated to exploring the stupidness in everything and creating direct connections with his audiences.

August 7, 2014 The Circus Diares
‘The Little Big Show’, by Laughter House Productions
Inside the Spiegeltent’s light and child-friendly younger cousin, the Kazador, we enter to sit around the tiny stage to an upbeat Elvis soundtrack, welcomed at the door by genial smiling host Mr Vita.

We are a tiny audience, but he invests as much energy and warmth on us as he would a full house, gently getting us going, and explaining the nature of his ‘mostly silent show’. Who needs words when you have a face – and eyebrows – as expressive as his?

The morning version of The Little Big Show is a half-hour solo spot, followed later in the day by a 45 minute mini-cabaret of four various artists. If they are all as engaging as Mr Vita, I wouldn’t hesitate to book.

His generous and warm-hearted clowning doesn’t falter for a minute when confronted by two very shy children of the three in attendance, and he gently coaches them to become the next generation of volunteer superstars – whilst cheekily involving the ‘Mummy’s too.

His object manipulation generates an awed ‘It’s floating!’ from in front of me as he smoothly rolls a large crystal contact ball over his fingertips, arms and chest; a cigar-box style manoevre with three big red balls is fun, and he loves our appreciation so much that we love giving it to him.

He balances objects on his face, launches forks that emerge from his creaking box of props into a dartboard, and is a strong and funny communicator through his mime and few words, faux-preening and showers of confetti.

Mr Vita is a consumate professional and charismatic performer who can entertain the whole family. A big personality on a little stage. Click Here
