What is it like being autistic and unable to tell the people in your life? What if you are 'in the neurodiverse closet' and do not even know your true nature yourself? What is life like living in the 'neurotypical' or normal world, when you are part of a set of humanity you have race empathy for, known as The Autistic? What does it feel like gaining a diagnosis for autism late in life? Just how much normal empathetic rubbish can you put up with in life?

What when the label of disability is inappropriate?

Based on survey questions, STEALTH ASPIES is a show devised and performed entirely by autistic adults. Established performers Alain English, Annette Foster and Paul Wady together with an alternating group such as Jason Why, Hannah Yahya and Sarah Saeed have taken the survey answers of 100% autistic people and tried to discover and reflect the truth of their kind and themselves. Moving, gritty, funny. A bit more funny in places as well. Oh, and for **** sake don't say anything that means one thing and sounds another because we are all SICK of that....

A world unique, challenging, myth busting and Aspe empowering show on its Edinburgh Fringe debut. Alternating with Paul Wady's GUERILLA ASPIES in the same venue. So watch the date?
